What is Henna?
Henna is the name of the dye made from a flowering plant known as the henna tree. Our henna contains no other dyes or additives and a fresh batch of henna is guaranteed at every appointment. We don’t use black henna because it has been proven to cause rashes on certain skin types.
How Do Henna Tattoos Work?
First, our henna artist works with you to create a design that you’ll love, so feel free to bring some ideas with you. The dye, which has the consistency of mud, is then applied in the pattern of the design. Henna can be used on most parts of the body and is completely painless. After it dries, the henna will cake off to reveal a beautiful red design.
How long do Henna tattoos last?
An application lasts from one to three weeks depending on your skin type. We recommend letting the henna fall off naturally and avoiding water for a minimum of 6-12 hours, and stay away from soap for 24 hours.
How Much Does it Cost?
Henna tattoos start at $20 but the final cost depends on the design you choose. Don’t worry, your esthetician will discuss pricing with you prior to applying the henna tattoo.
